Montgomery Bar Association’s Annual Golf Classic

Spring is around the corner and so is the Montgomery Bar Association’s Annual Golf Classic was held on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Meadowlands Country Club in Plymouth Meeting, PA.  Proceeds from this event will be used to benefit Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (Montgomery County Legal Aid), an organization that helps many low income residents of Montgomery County who cannot obtain legal assistance otherwise.

Last year’s event turned out to be a huge success raising over $7,500.00, which was matched by the MBA and donated to Legal Aid.  The golfers and sponsors had a fantastic time.

This year’s Golf Classic has even more in store.  The morning will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a Continental Breakfast.  A Shotgun Scramble will follow promptly at 8:00 a.m. Throughout the course, there will be various contests and opportunities to win prizes. We will be having an Awards luncheon where prizewinners will be announced and awards will be distributed.  

You can participate in the Golf Outing as a Sponsor and/or as a Player.  As a Sponsor, your message will reach our 2000+ members as we advertise the outing on the Web, in publications and at the event.  As a Event Sponsor ($2,000), you will receive recognition as a major sponsor of the event.  Your organization will be recognized on a huge banner at the Awards Luncheon, in the Event Brochure, on our Website, and in all of our promotional materials, including The Law Reporter, which reaches over 3,000 subscribers.  In addition, two free golf admissions will be included.  As a Green/Tee Sponsor ($100.00), your organization will be recognized on a tee or green on the course.  And, new this year, we are offering Amenity Sponsorships ($1,000) which entitle you to display and promote your organization with personalized golf related giveaways (i.e. golf towels, balls, hats, visors, beverage/cooler bags).  You can also participate by donating a prize or gift to be raffled off at the event or you can simply make a donation to benefit Montgomery County Legal Aid.  Make all checks payable to the Montgomery Bar Association.

To participate in this worthwhile cause, and have a day of adventure and comradery, sign up as a player and ENJOY!  The cost for participating is $150.00 for regular members and $100.00 for young lawyers.
