Free Elder Law Handbook Now Available to Montgomery County Seniors
The Montgomery Bar Association announces the release of its 2008-2009 Montgomery County Elder Law Handbook. The Handbook is a free publication for area seniors and provides valuable information about legal issues commonly faced by Montgomery County’s older residents and their caregivers. The publication also offers basic information and services and outlines areas which may require legal advice.
The Montgomery Bar Association started publishing the Montgomery County Elder Law Handbook in 2000, and continues to update the information as needed. Because of the many changes that have recently taken place in both federal and Pennsylvania law regarding senior citizens, the Elder Law Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association has updated and reprinted the Handbook this year.
It is being redistributed across the county to ensure that elder residents and their families are aware of the most recent Elder Law changes.
