               Receive PBA Pro Bono Awards

The Pennsylvania Bar Association Legal Services to the Public Committee recently awarded two (2) Montgomery County lawyers with Attorney Pro Bono Awards.  These awards are given annually and by merit to attorneys deserving special recognition for their voluntary efforts in providing free or reduced-fee legal representation to low-income Pennsylvanians.  At the MBA’s Board of Directors Meeting on November 22, 2011, a representative from the PBA was on hand  to present awards to two (2) individual lawyers and their respective law firms for noteworthy pro bono efforts.

Cary L. Flitter of Lundy, Flitter, Beldecos & Berger P.C. in Narbeth received an Attorney Pro Bono Award  for presenting three continuing legal education seminars about consumer law and attorney fees for legal aid attorneys.

Marie A. Patterson of the Law Office of Marie A. Patterson in Norristown received an Attorney Pro Bono Award for accepting multiple pro bono cases each year from Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and for handling time-intensive cases involving family law matters.
