|Ken is Special Counsel to the Blue Bell firm of Kraut Harris, P.C. and is Chair of the PBA Solo & Small Firm Practice Section. He concentrates his practice in the fields of franchise, business and real estate law. While General Counsel to the world's second largest transmission franchise, Ken practiced throughout the U.S. and Canada. During that time, he was also an advisor to the office of the Consumer Advocate of Dade County, Florida, and the Better Business Bureau of the State of Maryland. Ken was appointed the first Chair of the Franchise Law Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association, and has been its Chair or Co-Chair ever since. Ken also served several years as Chair of the Montgomery County Realtor Attorney Liaison Committee. The Committee is comprised of attorneys and Realtors who explore cutting edge real estate matters in Pennsylvania, and act as mediators and advisors to other Realtors and attorneys in Montgomery County. From 1984-1995, Ken taught franchise, real estate and business law at The Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. He was a certified mediator and arbitrator for the Montgomery Bar Association's Davenport Dispute Resolution Center when it was first established. He is also a certified mediator and arbitrator for the nationally recognized Franchise Arbitration and Mediation Services ("FAM"). Ken received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. Ken's community service initiatives include chairing the American Heart Association "Cardiac Arrest" program in Eastern Montgomery County and chairing the Diversity Task Force of the Upper Dublin Schools. Ken is the General Counsel and Past President of the Montgomery County Literacy Network.
