|Sarah N. Ponzio, Esq.; Chair, Young Lawyers Section; Chair, Awards Committee. Ms. Ponzio is the Director of Alumni Relations at Villanova University School of Law. Most recently, Ms. Ponzio was an associate at the law firm of Vetrano & Vetrano, where her practice centered around family law matters, including the areas of divorce, custody, equitable distribution, child support, alimony, spousal support, enforcement/modification of property settlement agreements and pre-marital agreements. While in law school, she interned as a law clerk for the Honorable Rayford A. Means in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and with The Federal Defender Association in their Habeas Corpus Unit. Additionally, Ms. Ponzio served as a student attorney with Villanova Law's Civil Justice Clinic, representing clients on issues relating to both child support and custody. Prior to graduation, Ms. Ponzio was presented with the Doris Day Award for Pro Bono service as well as the Philadelphia Bar Association Award for Pro Bono service. Following graduation from law school, Ms. Ponzio served as a law clerk for the Honorable Salvatore Bovino, J.S.C., in the New Jersey Superior Court, Family Division. Ms. Ponzio is also trained and served as a certified mediator, resolving child custody, visitation and support disputes. Outside the Montgomery Bar Association, Ms. Ponzio is a member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA), and serves as the Inn Administrator for the Villanova Law J. Willard O?Brien American Inn of Court. In addition, Ms. Ponzio volunteers her time as a Child Advocate through the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) and has participated in the Wills for Heroes Program. Ms. Ponzio also volunteers to serve as a VAST representative for the University of Delaware. Finally, Ms. Ponzio currently sits as a Trustee for the Wissahickon Neighborhood Civic Association (WNCA) and is an active member of their Parking and Traffic Committee.
