|Joseph Patrick Walsh was born and raised in Philadelphia. Joe graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1988. In 1991, he received a juris doctorate cum laude from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. At graduation, Joe was awarded the recognition of Order of the Barristers. While in law school, he served as a Research Editor on the Law Review, sat on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society, and received several American Jurisprudence Awards.
Upon graduation, Mr. Walsh became a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Herbert J. Hutton in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In January 2007, Joe Walsh formed the law firm of Walsh Pancio, LLC. The majority of Joe's legal career has been concentrated in the area of civil litigation and trial work. Throughout his legal career, Joe has had the privilege of representing the nation and the Commonwealth's largest insurers and self-insured entities.
In November 2005, Joe Walsh was elected to the Board of Directors for the North Penn School District, and he completed his term in December 2009. During the same time period, Joe served on the Board of Directors for the North Montgomery County Technical Career Center. In November 2009, Mr. Walsh was elected to Board of Supervisors in Montgomery Township. Following his oath of office on January 4, 2010, Joe was chosen by the Board to serve as its Chairman.
