|Mrs. Tabas is an experienced family law practitioner with her offices located in Narberth, Lower Merion Township. Throughout more than thirty years of practicing family law, she has handled complex divorce, custody, support, abuse and equitable distribution cases. Mrs.Tabas has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1986, and is an active member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations and various other organizations. She has been a frequent author, lecturer, course planner, and moderator for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and has served as an invited speaker at the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives Judiciary Task Force Hearings concerning various House bills. Mrs.Tabas served on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee from 1998 to 2004. She has been named as "Woman of the Year" by the Women's Center of Montgomery County and selected as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. Mrs. Tabas has been trained by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as an arbitrator of family law matters and utilizes those skills in serving as an arbitrator in family law matters as well as
offering alternate methods for managing negotiations, an encouraging resolutions and settlements of family law matters. Mrs. Tabas is an active member in her community. She and her husband, Richard, sit on the Leadership Council Board of Main Line Health Heart Center. She also served as Co-chair of the Religious School Committee at Main Line Reform Temple from 2007-2009. Mrs. Tabas received her B.A. from Ursinus College in 1976 with Honors in Political Science and her J. D. from Delaware Law School in 1979, where she served as Research Editor of the Law Review. She currently
serves as a member of the National Advisory Board of the Widener University School of Law.
