|Karl Myers maintains a diverse litigation practice, including in the areas of state government litigation, appellate litigation, insurance litigation and regulatory counseling, Right-to-Know Law litigation, construction and surety litigation, and other commercial and general litigation. He has handled trial court and arbitration litigation from inception through jury verdict in Montgomery County and in all of the other state and federal courts in the five-county region, as well as in other jurisdictions. Karl also frequently sits as a certified arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas.
Karl currently serves as executive chairman of the Legal Initiative for the American Red Cross, Penn-Jersey Region. He previously served as co-counsel to the election transition team for Montgomery County Commissioners Josh Shapiro and Leslie Richards. Mr. Myers also serves as a reviewer in the Investigative Division of the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, a body that evaluates the qualifications of judicial candidates in Philadelphia County. He also previously served as a member of the Environmental Advisory Committee for Montgomery Township.
Karl attended the Penn State-Dickinson School of Law, where he was a member of the Dickinson Law Review, the Appellate Moot Court Board and the Woolsack Honor Society. After law school, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Russell M. Nigro of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He also previously worked for the Hon. Yvette Kane of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Hon. John T.J. Kelly Jr. of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Karl began his legal career as an intern in the Montgomery County District Attorney?s Office.
