Topic: The only thing worse than buyer's remorse following a business acquisition is remorse over something that might have been discovered before making the investment. This program focuses on (a) some of the schemes that business owners use to make their company's financial performance better than it really is and (b) how basic financial statement analysis can highlight those schemes for further investigation. We will also address the responsibilities of legal and financial professionals to guide principals who can sometimes by so emotionally invested in a proposed transaction that they are blind to these "red flags."
Registration: Registration will be from 7:30-8am.
