Topic: Learn the basics as well as the finer points of Act 319 of 1974 (Farmland and Forestland Preservation Act) commonly known as "Clean and Green" program. The program seeks to preserve large amounts of open land by giving preferential real estate tax assessments to landowners that agree to keep their property free of development but there are penalties for those who violate the covenant.
