The Montgomery Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee evaluates the qualifications of candidates for the Court of Common Pleas.
Individuals who are considering filing as judicial candidates for any one of the open seats in the 2019 primary election should obtain a copy of the Judicial Evaluation Questionnaire, and a copy of the committee’s guidelines and bylaws. Completed questionnaires must be received by close of business Monday, January 14, 2019.
The ratings that are completed at each evaluation session will be announced at the conclusion of that session. Under the committee’s guidelines, any candidate who does not participate in the evaluation process will receive a “Not Recommended” rating. Candidate interviews will be scheduled during the week of February 4, 2019.
