Judges make decisions every day which affect the lives of ordinary citizens in profound ways. Criminal Court judges often make determinations of guilt or innocence – affecting matters such as safety and justice.
 Civil Court judges make decisions concerning property or money -- often affecting the financial wellness of those involved.  Family Court judges make decisions which impact matters such as the custody of children and the division of property – affecting citizens at the very core of what matters to them most.

Before casting your judicial votes on November 5, 2019, consider the recommendations of the Judicial Committee. These recommendations were given after thorough and careful review by a group of experienced, objective and dedicated individuals who want only the most qualified judges sitting on the bench.

As the Committee reviews the information provided by the candidates, and considers what they present to the Committee in their personal interviews, they develop their recommendations based on the following criteria: integrity, good moral character, industry, good health, legal ability, bench trial, jury trial, or evidentiary trial experience, judicial temperament (patience, courtesy, compassion, impartiality, humility, sense of fairness)
